2021 Bar Final examinations was no child's play as it saw over Five Thousand, Seven hundred (5,700) students sit for the exam.
To some, it was a dream come true, while others will have to try again some other time. The Bar Final examinations according to the Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Ciroma, was taken by a total of 5,770 candidates in March 2021, and out of which 4,350 candidates were successful in the examinations, 1,420 couldn't make it through and 20 students came out with a first class.
According to him, this figures represent a 75percent success rate at the Final exam. Ciroma assured that the institution shall continue to remain the gate keepers of law profession, adding, “as teachers and administrators, we will continue to uphold the standard and integrity of the Nigerian Bar.”
Total summary of the results showed that a total of 432 candidates made it to the Second class upper division, 2,174 candidates made the Second class lower division, while 1,724 other candidates had a pass.
